Did anybody get tricked by all the HIM pranks that were going around the web today?
I saw one last night before I went to bed and chuckled. Stayed offline most of the day. I had a laugh when I came back to find that there were more pranks. I thought they were funny. Of course it was mean to play with our HIM feels, but it’s April Fool’s Day. I can’t be mad at someone with a really good prank. :)

It was a hard choice between Venus Doom and Screamworks for me. I voted for Screamworks because it was the album that got me into the band. It holds a special place for me.

NEWS!
Generally speaking, from what could be translated it states, roughly, the following:
Drummers medical condition halts the return of band HIM.
The bands return to music has been delayed for a long time due to the drummers ongoing medical condition (nerve damage to the hands), which has been proven worse than anticipated. Due to Gas’ medical situation, which he has suffered since the summer, the band has been unable to continue working on the new album throughout the winter.
So far there has been no information as to when the band can continue to make progress and consider making a return to live performances, and announce tour dates.
HIM’s manager Seppo Vesterinen comments on the bands current situation stating that all rests on Gas’ recovery and nothing can be said at the moment. Doctors are due to assess Gas’ condition once again in mid April. Until then it is impossible to determine how to proceed in this situation.
Lead singer Ville Valo has been working on new material. There is new music which has been written. However, the band is not able to rehearse it.
It is understood that fans are eagerly awaiting action from the band. Unfortunately under the current circumstances there is no quick fix.
